Error in Shipping (FedEx Carrier) Error Code: 6537 Error Description: "ShippingChargesPayment Payor - The payor's account number is invalid."

Problem:

When the Carrier Pay Method is set to Recipient, the FedEx account number entered in the Carrier Details is invalid or incorrect.

Cause:

  • The recipient’s account number used for billing is not recognized or is entered incorrectly.

  • FedEx cannot validate the account to apply shipping charges.

 

Solution:

  1. Retrieve the Delivery:

    • Open the delivery record that encountered the error.

  2. Update Carrier Details:

    • In the Carrier A/C Number field, enter the correct recipient's FedEx account number.

    • Ensure the Carrier Pay Method is properly set to Recipient.

  3. Verify Account Format:

    • FedEx account numbers should be between 9 and 12 digits, numeric only.

  4. Save and Retry:

    • Save all changes and reattempt the shipment.
