Error in Shipping (FedEx Carrier) Error Code: 64354 Error Description: "Required element RequestHeader/MeterNumber missing."

Problem:

The Meter Number is missing in the carrier configuration, which is required for FedEx shipments to be processed.

Cause:

FedEx requires a valid Meter Number to authenticate and authorize shipping transactions. If it's missing in the configuration, shipping will fail.

 

Solution:

  1. Navigate to Carrier Configuration:

    • Open EBS Navigator.

    • Select ShipConsole Admin Responsibility.

  2. Update Meter Number:

    • In the ShipConsole Admin screen, go to Carrier Configuration.

    • Select the appropriate:

      • Operating Unit

      • Organization

      • Carrier

    • Click the Go button to retrieve existing carrier details.

  3. Enter the Meter Number:

    • In the retrieved configuration, enter the correct FedEx Meter Number in the Meter Number field.

  4. Save Changes:

    • Click Save to update the configuration.

  5. Retry Shipment:

    • Go back to the delivery and retry shipping.
