Slow Printing of Packing Slip in SCM

Created by ShipConsole Support, Modified on Wed, 7 May at 9:14 AM by ShipConsole Support

Problem:
Users are experiencing delays in the printing of packing slips after initiating the print job from the ShipConsole interface.

Explanation :

Once the packing slip request is submitted via ShipConsole, the control is transferred to Oracle Cloud SCM, where the actual job execution takes place.
ShipConsole does not have control over the Oracle Cloud job execution process.

Solution :

  • This is not a ShipConsole-related issue, as the system hands over the process to Oracle Cloud once the job is triggered.

  • Performance of the Oracle Cloud print job depends on:

    • Cloud server load

    • Job scheduling delays

    • Print server performance (if integrated)
