Basic Debugging Steps for SCM (ShipConsole Cloud)

  1. Initial Information Gathering

    • Collect the Shipment ID and error description.

    • Log in to ShipConsole SCM Cloud Production as a Role2 user:
      https://products.shipconsole.com/ShipConsoleSCMCloud
      Credentials: apps/<pwd>

    • Download the necessary files (e.g., Request/Response XMLs, labels, international documents).

  2. If Further Debugging Is Required

    • Log in as a Role1 user.

    • Request the log path and label path from the client.

  3. Log File Details

    • Log Path:
      /home/saasappsuser/aasc/<tomcat>/logs/<clientName>/

    • File Name Format:
      user_id_<adminEmail>.log

    • Get the User ID from the Production database to locate the correct log file.

  4. Check Data Returned from Oracle Cloud

    • DataModal Path:
      /home/saasappsuser/aasc/<tomcat>/webapps/labels/<clientName>/dataModal

    • File Name Format:
      ShipmentId_<datamodalreport_name>.xml
