Unwanted Printing of International Shipping Documents

Problem:

The Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, and NAFTA documents are being generated and printed unnecessarily from ShipConsole, even though custom paperwork is already being printed from Oracle Cloud. This leads to paper wastage and redundant documentation.

Solution:  

Disable Document Generation in ShipConsole

To prevent ShipConsole from generating these international documents, follow these steps:

 Steps to Disable International Document Printing:

1. Login as ShipConsole Admin.

2. Navigate to Profile Options in the admin console.

3. Select the appropriate Business Unit and Organization, then click the Go button.

4. Locate the field "Source of Intl Shipping" and click the button beside it (usually represented with a pencil/edit icon).

5. A popup window will open with a list of document options.

6. Uncheck/deselect all checkboxes to disable document generation from ShipConsole (Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, NAFTA, etc.).

7. Click Save in the popup window.

8. Then click Save again on the Profile Options page to confirm the changes.
