"Labels Not Displayed When Clicking 'View Label'

Problem:

When clicking on the "View Label" button, an error message is displayed: "We can't open this file. Something went wrong." As a result, labels are not being displayed.
 

Solution:

This issue occurs when the label format is not set to PDF Plain Paper. Formats like Zebra Thermal etc... are meant for direct printing and may not support on-screen viewing.

To resolve this:

  1. Log in as Admin.

  2. Navigate to Carrier Configurations.

  3. Select the relevant Carrier.

  4. Go to Printer Details.

  5. Set the Label Format to PDF Plain Paper.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Go to the Shipping page and click Ship Now.

  8. You should now be able to view the label using the View Label button.
