Error in Shipping (FedEx Carrier) • Error Code: 2210 • Error Description: "Insured value exceeds limit for the selected service in package 1."

Created by ShipConsole Support, Modified on Thu, 15 May at 6:51 AM by ShipConsole Support

Problem:

The declared (insured) value entered exceeds the maximum allowed limit for the selected FedEx service level.

Cause:

Different FedEx services have specific limits for declared value or insurance coverage. If the declared value exceeds this limit, the shipment cannot be processed.

Solution:

  1. Retrieve the Delivery:
    • Open the shipment record that triggered the error.
  2. Review Declared Value and Ship Method:
    • Check the Declared Value entered in the Package Details.
    • Verify the FedEx service level selected (e.g., FedEx Ground, FedEx Express).
  3. Update Declared Value:
    • Refer to FedEx guidelines for the maximum allowed declared value for the selected service.
    • Reduce the Declared Value within the permitted limit.
  4. Save and Reship:
    • Save the updated details and retry the shipping process.
