Loading Printers into ShipConsole

To register printers in Oracle E-Business Suite and load them into ShipConsole for label and document printing.

Step 1: Register the Printer in Oracle

Responsibility: System Administrator
Navigation:
Install → Printer → Register

Action:

1. Create a new printer entry or update an existing one.

2. In the Description field, enter:
   ShipConsole
   (This description is essential for the printer to be recognized by ShipConsole.)

Step 2: Load the Printer in ShipConsole

Responsibility: ShipConsole

Navigation:
View → Requests → Submit a New Request

Action:

1. Select Single Request.

2. In the Name field, enter:
   AASC Printer Load

3. Leave other fields (Operating Unit, Parameters) blank.

4. Set Print To field (e.g., noprint) or choose an appropriate printer.

5. Click Submit.

Enter Name as “AASC Printer Load”  and click on “Submit”.
