Weight Not Populating After Scale Replacement

Problem:
After replacing the weight scale with a new model, the weight field began populating as null in the application.

Root Cause:
Security settings or cached data were interfering with the communication between the weight scale and the application.

Solution:
The following steps were taken to resolve the issue:

  1. Security Configuration:
    Added the ShipConsole URL to the Java Control Panel under Security → Exception Site List.

  2. Browser Cache Cleared:
    Opened Developer Tools (F12) → Navigated to the Network tab → Clicked Clear Cache.
    Closed all browser windows and reopened the application.

Result:
After performing the above steps, the weight began populating correctly in the application.
