Once the user is able to ping the printer, then use the following command to print the valid label file.
Go to home/aasc/labels
Note: Following is the directory structure existing in the machine tomcat server running.
Select any valid label and use that in the following command for printing.
Example: lp –d TEST_UPS – n 1 1Z3749X42591826267
Note:
- lp is the UNIX command used to print the files. ‘–d ‘is the option for print the files to the named printer. ‘-n’ is the option for number of copies. TEST_UPS is the printer name. 1Z3749X42591826267 is the valid label name.
- We will get the request id, which means it successfully printed.
- Try to print valid label names from both UPS and FEDEX.
- If all above steps have been completed, then shipping labels should print successfully from ShipConsole.
