Display Both Shipment Cost and Freight Charges with Negotiated Rates in ShipConsole

Scenario:

Your carrier account number is registered for negotiated (discounted) rates, and you want both the shipment cost and the freight charges shown to the customer to reflect those negotiated rates.

Solution:

1. Navigate to Carrier Configuration:

   • Open EBS Navigator.

   • Select ShipConsole Admin Responsibility.

2. Access Carrier Configurations:

   • Click on Carrier Configurations in the ShipConsole Admin screen.

   • Select the appropriate:

     • Operating Unit

     • Organization

     • Carrier Name

   • Click Go to retrieve the carrier details.

3. Enable Negotiated Rates:

   • Locate the checkbox labeled Use Negotiated Rates.

   • Check this box to enable use of discounted rates for both shipment and freight charges.

4. Save the Configuration:

   • Click the Save button to apply the changes.
